Motive No Longer “Relevant” in Bradley Manning Case

17 Jan

According to this article from ‘The Guardian’ , the Judge in the Bradley Manning case will not allow him to make a defense based on his whistle blower motives. What does this mean?

He’s pretty much fucked.

Let’s face it, the government does not want this to be a fair trial. The fact that the prosecution is getting away with so much is all the evidence you need. According to Alexa O’Brien’s interview on the ‘Abby Martin’ show, the government is planning to present evidence of a link between Osama Bin Laden and the leaked Afghan War Diaries. Absurd? Yes. Fair? No. Expected? Maybe so.

Enough is enough. Are we going to wait for this hero to be found guilty and sent to jail for the rest of his life, or are we going to take a stand? Does it even matter if we do? Can any moral human being sit back and just watch this happen? Will the 1st Amendment become a thing of the past?

We’ll find out in our next installment of the injustice system circus reality tv show known as the “Bradley Manning trial”.

Goodnight, and good luck.
